From Japan a Christmas Card of Geishas and a street in Kyoto
This is a street in Kyoto. There is a pagoda and 2 geisha ("maiko" called in present time) under the umbrella and many tiny Santas. This is really beautiful and unique! On the front of the card it says " Season's greetings" and on the inside it says "The season's best wishes and a happy new year.". The card sparkles with silver! There are also cherry blossoms and these trees.
*Maiko is a Japanese word for 'dancing girl' and is an apprentice geisha.
So beautiful!!

Japanese Christmas Card of a Geisha and Shrine
This is a "fushimi inari taisya" (fushimi inari shrine) in Kyoto. There is "senbon torii" (senbon = 1000 and a torii; a gateway to a Shinto shrine - 1000 gateways)and 1 geisha ("maiko" called in present time) walking under the gateways and many tiny Santas.
