The Psychology of Color Part 7

Purple is a mixed color,
a combination of the passionate red
and the peaceful tranquility of blue.
It is a symbol of leadership,
respect and wealth.
Historically, purple was the most
expensive dye to make so only
the wealthy could afford to be
"in the purple"
and has been the color of royalty
and emperors since the Roman era.

Purple is sensual,
spiritual, elegant and mysterious.
Purple and violet are colors
used in rooms of deep relaxation
therapy and meditation.
Splashes of violet in any social room
promotes a spiritual connection.
